Thanks to its integral load-break isolating switch mechanism, the decontactor socket allows users to connect and disconnect electrical equipment safety up to 250 A : a release button cuts the power and deenergises the plug before it can be removed. Equipment fitted with a decontactor (ie not hard-wired) can be repositioned in moments when production changes, hence increasing flexibility and productivity.
MARECHAL also offers Ex decontactors for ATEX environments such as distlleries, grain silos and sugar mills.
