Thanks to its silver-nickel butt-contact technology, the decontactor withstands these high and repeated overloads without over-heating or change in its performance. The decontactor is thus ideally suited for motor connections, even for motors that have to start frequently.
The decontactor socket's integral load-break isolating switch allows users to connect and disconnect electrical equipment safely up to 45 kW: a release button cuts the power and de-energises the plug before it can be removed. Even in the event of short-circuit, the decontactor guarantees user safety and eliminates any electrocution hazard.
